“It was like watching a magic trick unfold on stage,” Lila says with a gleam in her eye. “The audience was completely mesmerized, and that’s what makes all the hard work worth it.”

“Creating a fully functional, large-scale mechanical dragon was an enormous challenge,” admits Lila. “We had to consider everything, from the weight distribution and balance to the intricate system of gears and pulleys that would bring the dragon to life.”
The prop shop team spent months meticulously planning and constructing the dragon, drawing inspiration from the latest advancements in robotics and animatronics.
